Marjorie E (Ross) Vining

Marjorie Ross Vining of Hingham, died on April 25th in Weymouth at the age of 95. She and her husband, Hubert (Mike)Vining, who predeceased her in 1987, were members of Old Ship Church in Hingham and sang for many years in the choir. She was born in New York City on September 30, 1921 to Stuart E. Ross of Providence, Rhode Island and Clara Huffman Ross of Butte, Montana, both concert pianists. Marjorie pursued a career in art and taught at the Rhode Island School of Design. Friends are invited to an informal remembrance service in the Old Ship parlor, 107 Main St., Hingham, on Sunday, June 4 at 12:45.
