Suzanne Emmel

Suzanne C. Emmel of Hingham, formerly Tenafly, NJ and Chicago, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12.

Born in Chicago to her parents Robert and Dorothy (Kamp) Geimer, Suzanne was raised there until 1978 when she moved to New Jersey where jumped to Connecticut, back to Jersey then finally to Hingham.

Suzanne was a florist by trade and most proud to be a mother and grandmother. She and Clayton were loving parents to Todd Emmel and his wife Barbara of Hingham, Drew Emmel and his wife Chrissie of Newport Beach, CA and Gregg Emmel and his wife Brooke of Bay Village, OH. She was also the proud grandmother of Amanda, Clayton, Peter, Gracie, and Tess.

An avid flower arranger, Suzanne also enjoyed collecting art to even further beautify her life. She will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

A private, family service will be held at a later date.
