Greg loved sports. In fact he was a baseball addict having been a Red Sox fan since 1932. He
also played baseball and swam with the Exeter team for 3 years and as a freshman at Yale in
1941.
Greg had two passions - One was Cabaret which he helped to establish in Hingham together
with Frances in 1963. Cabaret was a fundraiser for the Hingham Community Center and
enjoyed by many.
His second was Charity Treks - A Fundraiser of a Different Color, raising money to find a cure
for HIV/AIDS - in which he participated every summer beginning in 2003. At the Charity Treks
he was known as GrandPa and his smiling face would greet the riders as they rode into camp
at the end of a long bike ride.
He and Frances loved to travel having more recently visited in Germany, France, Spain and
Vietnam.
