Russell Goulart Sr

Russell Joseph Goulart Sr., 55, of Hull, MA died on August 14, 2023, in the hospital suddenly and unexpectedly. 

Born in Boston, MA on November 23, 1967. Devoted and loving father of Russell Joseph Goulart, Jr. of Hull, MA. Son of Barbara Bogart Goulart of Hull, MA and the late Russell Edward Goulart of Florida.
 
Russ was a father first in all that he did.  He also cared for his extended family and friends.  Life brought a variety of passions and careers.  As a child, building ramps with plywood and bricks to propel their BMX bikes into the air, Russ and his younger brother Joshua fostered his love of fun and adventure. Russ’s love of cars led him to auto mechanics. Russ loved to explore the ocean, the Islands of Boston, and the campgrounds of New England and spent countless occasions sharing these passions with his loved ones.  Then life moved him to become an EMT and beyond, where he showed his ability to put people at ease as he cared for them. The love of hockey was always a part of Russ’s life. He was either playing, coaching, or being an EMT during games at rinks. Russ’s greatest gift may have been his smile and his ability to love those around him and make them feel loved.
 
Russ is survived by siblings:  Mary Goulart-Kerr, Tracey Masterson, Gina Fitzmaurice, Joshua Goulart, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, lifelong friend Bob Keough, and all the many friends who have touched Russ’s life.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street, Hingham, MA 02043. Friday, August 25th, 4 to 7 P.M. On-street parking is available.
