Robert E. Houle a Decorated Marine of the Korean War. He passed away peacefully at the age of 89 at Southwood Nursing Facility where he resided for the past 4 years.
The uncle of Kathleen McGrath of Weymouth, Deborah Buccheri of Rockland, Susan Freeland of Abington, Edward Sines of Kingston, Bryan Sines of South Weymouth, and Wayne and Paul Sines of Hingham. Also the uncle of Donna Shea, Scott Leach, Mary Ann Leach, Kenneth Leach, Tami Jackson HannWeber and Ronald Jackson. He had several great nieces and great nephews. Brother of the late sisters Kathleen Jackson, Dorothy Sines, and Mary Leach. Cherished son of the late Edmund Houle and Ann (Nearing) Houle and Mary Houle. He was the companion of the late Regina Goode and their dog “Rebel.”
Robert was born in Framingham and lived in Quincy for many years. He worked at General Dynamics and he loved to travel places, especially Lake Tahoe.
A proud but humble decorated Korean War vet with many honors. He will be sorely missed.
A private burial will take place with honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA.
