Obituary
Robert H. Bullock of Hingham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30 after a courageous battle with a long-term illness at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Anne Marie, his son Kevin, his daughter Karen and her husband Ralph. He was Papa to his granddaughter Kayla and her husband Scott and Great Papa to their children Hailey and Mason. He also leaves behind two nieces, Kathie and Bobbie and their families.
He was born in Milton and after graduating from Dedham High School he proudly served his country in both the Navy Reserves and the U.S. Army. After leaving the military, he became a Freight Supervisor with TWA Airlines until the newspaper industry came calling where he spent the rest of his career working for the Dedham Transcript and the Boston Herald until his retirement.
Bob was a Hingham resident for over 50 years. He spent many weekends in his younger days camping with his family on Cape Cod. He loved traveling to different parts of the country and taking weekend trips all over New England and going out to “suppa” with his family. He also loved animals, reading and was an avid fan of all the Boston sports teams but most of all he cherished spending time with family and friends at his home.
