Nan A (Broadford) Olson

Nan A. (Broadford) Olson, of Hingham, passed away on August 4, 2022,  at the age of 92.

 Beloved wife of the late Carl W. Olson Sr. Loving mother of George M. Loring the III and his wife Susan of Weymouth, David A Loring and his wife Pat of Sandwich. Stepmother of Carl W. Olson Jr, and Terry Olson both of Hingham. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 3 Greatgrandchildren.

 Nan was a lifelong resident of Hingham and worked as a popular school bus driver for the Town of Hingham for over 25 years. She was an accomplished equestrian and horse lover and was secretary for many years for the" South Shore Trail Riders". Nan loved sailing and everything about the ocean being first mate to her husband Carl aboard the Vagrant.  In her later years she truly enjoyed vacations to Maine with her late husband, Carl. Nan was also the former wife and business founder of George M. Loring (George M. Loring Studio of Photography}.  

Private family services will be held for Nan, and she will be buried at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne with her late husband Carl. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite Veterans Organization.
