Matthew McPeck

Mattie McPeck, 59, of Hull, MA passed away on December 22, 2025 after a long illness.

Born in Weymouth, MA he was the son of Frannie Maccarrone and pre deceased by his father Bernie McPeck. He was a graduate of Hull High School and was a personal trainer for over 30 years. Known for his passion for fitness and health Mattie not only trained his clients but befriended many. Mattie could often be seen riding his bike around the streets of the South Shore and also as a participant raising money for the Pan Mass Challenge. When he wasn’t training or biking his time was spent enjoying his many pets, especially Rocky.

He leaves behind his brother Chris and his wife Linda, his sister Lisa Gates and her husband Chuck. He was a loving uncle to Dennis, Michael, Max and Sam. He also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 5, 2026, from 4-7pm at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond Street Hingham MA 02043.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.mspca.org
