Mary Anna Maynard, 76, of Cohasset, formerly of Enosburg Falls, Vermont, passed away peacefully at her home, with family gathered, on May 10, 2022, after a long illness.
She is survived by 5 children: Peggy L. Chaput and her husband, Ted, of Hull, Pamela J. Donovan of Taunton, Martha A. Gianibas and her husband, Nickolas, of Hull, John N. Maynard and his wife, Stephanie, of Littleton, Colorado, and Victoria L. Walsh and her husband, Matthew, of Marshfield. She was also mother of the late John Robert Maynard III her infant son.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also looking forward to the birth of another granddaughter.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, John R. Maynard, Jr.; her parents, Oliver and Sylvia St. Cyr, Antonio St. Cyr, and by 4 siblings.
Anna received degrees in nursing from Quincy Junior College and The State University of New York (SUNY). She was a tenured Registered Nurse serving over 30 years at both South Shore Hospital in Weymouth and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was caring, committed, and compassionate in her career and as a wife and mother.
Visiting hours will be held at Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street, Hingham, on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4-7 PM A Funeral Service will be held at St. Anthony’s Parish, 129 S. Main Street, Cohasset, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10 AM Interment at the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:45 AM.
