June Houghton Obituary
June C. (Surette) Houghton passed away on April 7, 2020 at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of the late Charles A. “Charlie” Houghton. Loving mother of Charles “Chuck” M. Houghton of Hingham, Wendy L. Houghton of Quincy and the late Judy A. Coash. Dear grandmother of Anthony “Tony” Coash of Weymouth. Sister of the late Barbara McKay, Rosalie Webber, Marion Surette, and Edwin Surette. Mother In-law of John Coash Jr. of S. Carolina. June is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Quincy, MA to the late Fred and Louise (Jackson) Surette. She lived in Hingham for many years and was a devoted Homemaker and Mother to her family. June loved to travel and go camping with her late Husband Charlie in their motor home and loved playing Bingo and Cribbage. The family wishes to thank Peggy Hughes.
