Julie was born in Fon Du Lac Wisconsin, moving to Scituate with her family at the age of 5 where she spent her childhood and attended Scituate school. Julie loved animals, especially horses. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping at flea markets and antique stores, and taking long walks. She enjoyed the ocean very much. Julie would strike up a conversation with anyone. She loved to go out to eat and was a frequent patron of her favorite restaurant, Sweet Lemons, in Weymouth where the staff knew her and Cai well. She was very friendly and loving.
