Joyce Elliott (Richardson) Ciccolo

Joyce Elliott Richardson Ciccolo, of Hingham MA, passed away peacefully on January 3rd at age 86.

Born on April 30th, 1939, in Boston, MA, Joyce was raised in Dorchester and Hingham, MA. Joyce was known for her love of family, reading, painting, gardening and anything cobalt blue. She spent her career as a nurse for 30 years, where she was respected for her compassionate care. Joyce continued her work at several Councils on Aging on the South Shore where she assisted town residents. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Ciccolo, Sr. for 58 years. As a mother, Mother-in-law, and Grandmother, she was a constant source of support and wisdom.

She is survived by her children, Robert W. Ciccolo, Jr. and his wife Dale, Daniel E. Ciccolo and his wife Anne, and Sarah C. Asnes and her husband Geoffrey. Her legacy lives on through her Grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

At Joyce's wishes, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association, an organization close to her heart.
