Jane (Fulton) Street, wife of the late Lawrence Street, passed away peacefully at home with daughter Cynthia Brown, son Lawrence Street and daughter Jennifer Street. She is predeceased by her brother Thomas P. Fulton and is survived by her sister Christine Steadman, nieces Tamera Taft and Amanda Steadman Brown and six granddaughters Kelly Gallant, Trina Welch, Nikkole Rolston, Krista Brown, Erin Brown and Cordelia Street. Her legacy also left six great grandchildren, Camden and Declan Welch, Asher, Ayla and Arden Gallant, and Quinn Rolston. She was loved and will continue to be remembered by all, including several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Mrs. Jane (Fulton) Street, born May 20th, 1929, to William and Laura (Moe) Fulton was a ‘47 graduate of Sutton High School and a ’51 graduate of Brown University (Pembroke Gal). Jane was a life-long educator, and taught English at several institutions throughout Massachusetts to include, Hardwick High School, Saugus High School, where she taught and was a basketball coach, Wayland High School, Braintree High School ending her career and retiring with Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. Mrs. Street remained active with the Brown University community attending Brown Football Games, Reunions, and Community Events with life-long college friends throughout the years.
Jane was an avid tennis player, bridge player, and camper and spent many summers on Martha’s Vineyard, her second home to Hingham where she was a resident for 58 years. Mrs. Street was also an active member of the Old Ship Church in Hingham. Before camping on Martha’s Vineyard, Jane and Larry took Cindy, Law and Jennifer on two cross-country trips (’75 and ’77) exploring most of States in the USA and all the Provinces in Canada. With the love for travel Jane and Larry visited several other countries throughout the years to include England, France, Greece, Italy, Australia, and Sweden. Jane and Larry explored Jane’s Swedish Heritage and in 2011 Jane traveled to the Baltics States to explore her Lithuanian Heritage.
Mrs. Street was a charter member of the South Shore Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and a member for over 55 years. She was active in the AAUW community and as an avid reader attended book clubs with AAUW and the Old Ship Church community.
Jane’s infectious spirit and drive to live a full life will be remembered for many years to come. May she rest in peace with her soul mate Larry and family members afore.

There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at the Old Ship Church on Sunday, June 16th at 12:30pm followed by a luncheon at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham.
