James Clark Obituary

James A. Clark, Sr., 84, of Cohasset, MA on May 4, 2021 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Beloved husband of Barbara (McIsaac) (Johnson) for 53 years. Also survived by his children, James A. Clark, Jr., (wife Leanne) of Cohasset, J. Daniel Clark (wife Barbara-Jeanne) of ME, Scott D. Johnson (wife Hilary) of Plymouth, Eric D. Johnson of Helen, GA, Joseph Clark of GA and Linda of TX as well as a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Vafides Forbes (husband Paul) of FL, brothers Donald Clark (wife Marcia) of FL and Robert Clark (wife Dorothy) of Braintree.

Jim was born in Cohasset on August 28, 1936 to Arthur and Eunice (Blaney) Clark. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. After living in Hingham for many years, Jim and Barbara moved to Cohasset 14 years ago. Jim was a member of the Konohasset Lodge A.F. & A.M., a retired member of Teamsters Local 25 and a grateful member of AA for over 38 years where he gladly helped and sponsored many people.

Jim loved boating as a former member of South Shore Yacht Club, gardening, repairing family vehicles, following sports, and was an avid bicyclist for many years. He and Barbara also spent time camping in parts of the U.S. and Canada.

Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends who will always remember a wonderful husband and Dad who had a great sense of humor and a loving heart.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 8th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
