Ellen Jean (Perry) Baker

Ellen Jean (Perry) Baker, of Weymouth, passed away September 17, 2022 at the age of 79.

Beloved mother of Darrin Baker of Beaver, P.A., Sheldon Baker of Weymouth, and the late Stacey Baker. Grandmother of Matthew, Siobhan, Benjamin, and Rebecca. Sister of Susan Perry of Weymouth, John Perry of Plymouth, Jane Sforza of Whitman, Robert Perry of Carver, and the late George Perry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Ellen was born in Cohasset and was the daughter of the late George B. and Beatrice E. (Neagle) Perry. She worked for many years at the Abington Rockland Joint Water Works. Ellen enjoyed casinos and times spent with her boating friends. She was always ready to help a neighbor and loved her family and friends dearly. 

Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the family’s request, interment will be private.
