Edward J. Gonsalves

Edward James Gonsalves of South Weymouth, Massachusetts died on March 8th at Home after courageously battling many long-time illnesses.

Beloved Husband of Janet A. Wrigley Gonsalves. Devoted Father and Role Model to Son Thomas E. Gonsalves his wife Ginger and grandchildren Brelyn, Jayden, Shawn and his loving dog Gracie, who never left his side.

Born in Weymouth in June 1945 last surviving son of 8 Children by Alfred J. Gonsalves and Grace M. Wheaton. Sisters and brothers Jean G. Tolman, Joanne Mispel, Alfred Gonsalves Jr., Joseph Gonsalves, Carol Gonsalves, George Gonsalves and James Gonsalves.

He and his wife Janet were long time business owners in South Weymouth of Acc-U-Cut Hair Design. Ed loved to Garden, enjoyed painting, crafting and “work” or, as he called it, visiting with friends for the last years of his life. He loved his family and friends as they all added such joy to his life.

There will be no services, he just wanted to get planted in the gardens with

his beloved dog Patches.
