Doris M. Falvey

Doris M. Falvey, 94, a Hingham resident for the past 62 years died peacefully February 4th, 2023.

Born and raised in Floral Park NY. She was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs School, NYC. She was employed at the United Nations for the China ambassador for several years. Also employed by the US Postal Service for 27 years. An avid swimmer at the YMCA in Quincy for many decades. She also volunteered for many years for the American Heart Association collecting many funds.

She is survived by her brother Harold Wicks of NY, her children sons Francis of FL, John Jr. of NY, Timothy of GA, Daniel of FL, daughters Helen of VA, and Jeanne of Hingham. Grandmother to Kyle, James, Jenelle, Cullen, Sara, Ashley, Kailey and Benjamin. Great grandmother to Mikey, Bethel, Berniece, Kyle Jr. Jaxson and Brock. 

Visiting hours will be held on Friday March 3rd, 2023 at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond Street Hingham from 4-7pm all are welcome to attend. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at Resurrection Church 1057 Main Street Hingham at 10am all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
