Cecilia Ann (Morrill) Russell

Cecilia A. Russell (Morrill), 86 of Abington, MA. formerly of Amesbury, MA and Newburyport MA. Passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 after a short illness at home sounded by her family in Abington, MA. Cecilia was born in Newburyport, MA in 1937 to Anne Hanaway and Cecil Morrill. Cecilia’s family was always number one. You could always find her in the kitchen baking sweet treats for her co-workers, friends and family where she worked for many years at The Newburyport Market Basket. She loved preparing Sunday diners for her family.

Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Albert G. Russell, her brothers, Robert, David, John Henry, George, Paul and her sister Ollie Baraway and survived by her daughter, Mary Steel and her husband Terance of Abington, MA. and her two granddaughters, Hannah and Meghan and also by her brother William Morrill of Amesbury, MA.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
