Carol A (Barton) Morrissey

Carol Ann Morrissey, 88, passed away on Saturday, September 7 at home in Hingham, MA. Born in NYC in 1936 to Anna Hough and Bernard Barton, Carol traveled the world and was known for her hard work, creativity and loyalty. Carol is survived by her brother Bernard Barton, Jr., children Michael and Susan Morrissey, and grandchildren Ben Wilkinson, Dan Morrissey Martin, Dylan Morrissey, Savannah Liu, Brendan Morrissey, Liam Morrissey, Kieran Morrissey, Steven Morrissey and Alena Morrissey, and preceded in death by her daughter Linda Weigand, grandson Jonathan Weigand, and her three sisters Diane, Babette and Elaine.

A funeral mass will take place Friday September 20th, 2024, at 9am at Holy Family Church 403 Union St Rockland MA, 02370. Burial will follow at Glastonbury Abbey 16 Hull St Hingham MA, 02043.
