Carol M. Meaney of Hingham, MA age 95 passed away March 6 in the Hospital after being under Hospice care at home for the last 6 months. Born Carol Robbins in Boston, daughter of Charlotte and George Robbins, sister of Georgia O'Neill (deceased) of Nevada and Kenneth Robins (deceased) of California.
She is predeceased by her husband(s) ex Andrew Gaudette (deceased), Joseph Meaney (deceased) and George Casey (deceased). She is survived by her daughter Andrea of Westboro, son, Mark Gaudette and his wife Elizabeth of Wareham and son Alan Gaudette and his wife Joyce of Marshfield. Grandchildren Errol, Renee, Brian, Joel and 4 Great-Grandchildren her dear friend Carolyn Fitzsimmons.
She was the consummate homemaker and enjoyed sewing her own clothes, curtains, baking and maintaining her extensive collection of “collectibles“. Visitors often commenting they thought they were in a gift when entering her home. Her favorite job throughout the years was her job at the Windsor button shop where she loved to share her talents with the customers.
Special thanks to hospice staff that came to her home allowing her to fulfill her wish of living at home during her final days.
There will be small private family ceremony located at the
Downing Cottage Chapel in Hingham, MA and Burial at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham, MA.
