Bruce W. McGunnigle

Bruce William McGunnigle of Weymouth passed away on May 3, 2022 after a lengthy illness.  He was 74 years of age.

Born in Quincy to William and Genevieve McGunnigle, Bruce was a graduate of Weymouth High School and a veteran of the United States Navy.  He worked in many fields before becoming president of the McGunnigle Insurance Agency, where he worked until his retirement.

Bruce was the proud father of Nicole (McGunnigle) Quinlan of Plymouth, Jesse W. McGunnigle of Weymouth and the recently deceased Casey W. McGunnigle.  He is also survived by three grandchildren:  Stefanie Morrison, Jake Morrison and Tobias McGunnigle and one great-grandson, Brandon Morrison.  

All are welcome to attend visiting hours on Wednesday May 11, 2022 from 4-6 pm at Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street, Hingham.  A brief prayer service will be held at 6 pm and burial will be private.
