Barbara L (Jones) Haggblom

Barbara L. Haggblom, 93, formerly of Hingham, died peacefully at home on October 3, 2023.

Born in Worcester, MA in 1930 and one of six children born to Harry E. Jones and Viola Clark. Barbara and her husband Walter lived for many years in Hingham and raised their three daughters.

Barbara was active in the Hingham Congregational Church of Hingham teaching Sunday School and worked in retail for many years at Peter Harris and Hoffman’s clothing store for years until retiring in her eighties. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan and Fred Channell of Hingham. Leslie and Denis Feely of Norton, and Cindy and Joe Maressa of Westminster. Eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond Street Hingham on Sunday October 8 from 1pm-3pm.
