Anna M Zukas

ZUKAS, Anna M., of Marshfield, MA, formerly of Cambridge, MA, age 90, passed away July 10, 2023 after a short illness. 

Anna was born and raised in Cambridge and lived in the home she was born in for over 90 years until she recently moved into the Village at Proprietor’s Green in Marshfield in March, 2023.  She was the daughter of Charles and Domicele Zukas of Cambridge, MA.  She is survived by her sister Dorothy (Raymond) Carter of Denver, NC.  She was the loving sister of the late Martha (Joseph) Miceli of Needham, MA, William (Marie) Zukas of Humarock, MA, John Zukas of Cambridge, MA, Helen (Daniel) Sliski of Lexington and Westford, MA, Paul (Louise) Zukas of Norwood, MA, and Joseph (Bridget) Zukas of Wilmington, MA and Mooresville, NC.  She was the dear aunt of Daniel (Debbie) Somers of Westford, MA, Ann (George) Mark of Newtown, PA, Alan (Susan) Sliski of Lincoln, MA, William Zukas, Jr. of Humarock, MA, Terri (Brian) Smith of Humarock, MA, Martha Miceli of Needham, MA, Rev. Stephen Zukas of Reading, MA, Barbara (Sean) Richardson of Norwood, MA, Peter (Donna) Zukas of Bellingham, MA, Sandy (Todd) Carter of AZ, Gary Carter of Denver, NC, Anna (Chris) Conley of Mooresville, NC, and Joseph (Heidi) Zukas of Peoria, AZ.  She was also the aunt of the late Joseph Miceli, Jr. of Wellington, Nevada.  Also survived by many great and great grand nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Mary Jane Rupert and her friend George, of Cambridge, MA.  

Anna spent her career working at the Gillette Company in the Prudential Building, Boston.  In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a devout Catholic and a loyal Red Sox fan.  She was a great role model to her entire family and will be sadly and greatly missed by all of us.  Donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice Home or NVNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.  Online donations may be made at nvna.org.

A memorial mass will take place on August 12, 2023 at St Christine's Church 1295 Main Street Marshfield MA at 10am. Burial will follow at Couch Cemetery on Union Street Marshfield.
