Andrea Gaudette passed away peacefully on 3-1-26 at her Group home in Westboro, Ma. after briefly being under care of Hospice. Andrea was born to the late Andrew Gaudette and Carol Meaney, (Casey, Gaudette) (Robbins). Andrea is also predeceased by her Grandmother Charlotte Robbins, Aunts' Jeanette D’Ambrosio, Georgia O'Neil, Uncle Kenneth Robbins and sister in-law Joyce Gaudette
She is survived by her two brothers Mark Gaudette, his wife Elizabeth their two children son Errol Gaudette his wife Emma and their children Ethan and Emmet, their daughter Renee and her daughter Addyson and brother Alan Gaudette his wife Karen, and his children Brian and Joel Gaudette and Joel's his son Noah. In addition, she is survived with an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Andrea suffered from Cerebral Palsy since birth which required her to be in special care facilities her entire life. Despite being legally blind, confined to a wheelchair and her upper body mostly paralyzed she always remained talkative, cheerful, curious with never a complaint. Despite these physical limitations she defied the odds having lived a long life. Possessing exceptional hearing she would often evoke laughter with a "I heard that", when attempting to discuss something quietly out of her range. She had an encyclopedic memory and memorized everyone's birthdates she met, was an avid sports fan following sports on the TV and radio and had remarkable recall of all the players and numerous sports statistics.
Later in life Andrea was fortunate to have resided in a group home managed by TILL, Inc. In both, there day program and her residence, Andrea received excellent support, companionship and care. Here she had a lifelong place she could call home.
Special thanks to the TILL organization, the group home staff and hospice that came to her home allowing her to fulfil her wish of living at home during her final days.
