William Michael Bergan

William Michael Bergan, of Hull, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the age of 49 surrounded by his cousins who loved him as a brother.

Son of the late Kathleen Bergan. Cherished grandson of the late Marion Bergan. Survived by Michael’s two greatest accomplishments in his life, his children William Michael Bergan and Gabrielle Bergan. Beloved godson of the late Ellen (Bergan) Sylvester. Loving cousin to Jamie Barbuto, Jennifer Tichy, and Meghan Sylvester and many others cousins that adored him. Michael is also survived by his Aunts, Margaret Larson and Maureen White.

Michael graduated from Arch Bishop Williams High School, class of 1988, as well as Suffolk University, class of 1993. He had success as a financial advisor in the investment industry for many years. He loved Nantasket beach where he grew up and also enjoyed all New England sports teams. Michael was a wonderful man who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham, on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:15 immediately followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 208 Samoset Avenue Hull, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Hingham.
