Virginia Brunke

Virginia "Snooky" Karas Brunke, life-long resident of Hull, passed away on December 6th at the age of 71, surrounded by loved ones. 

Daughter of the late Stradi and Thelma Karas.  Estranged wife of the late Charles Brunke.  Loving mother of the late David Brunke, survived by sons Daniel Jay Brunke and wife Nancy Snyder of Hull, Mark Brunke of Boston, and devoted friend of Peter Orbach of Quincy.  Sister of the late Barbara Callahan and James Karas.  Survived by brothers Steven Karas of Falmouth and George Karas of Taunton.

Virginia in past years enjoyed Nantasket beach, traveling, yard sales, and collecting vintage clothing and shoes.

There will be a celebration of life at the Downing Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham at 12:00 Noon, Sunday, December 15th. 

Friends are invited to join the family after the celebration at the Parrot Restaurant in Hull.

Interment will be private.
