Robert Bruce (Jr) Smith

Robert B. "Bruce" Smith Jr. of Hull, passed away on Sunday December 3, 2017 at the age of 59. 

Beloved son of Robert B. Smith of FL and the late Elizabeth Smith. Father of Courtney Smith of Weymouth and Christopher Smith of Scituate. Cherished brother of  Stacey Sellman and her husband Steven of Plymouth, Susan Valley and her husband Dan of NH,  Nancy Parker and her husband Steve of Pembroke, Amy Smith of Canton, and Beth Peterson of Pembroke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bruce was born and raised in Hingham where he graduated from Hingham High School and was an avid hockey player. He worked for the town of Hingham for many years in the Parks and Recreation department. Bruce was very athletic and loved to spend time on the beach. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone who met him. He loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
