Phyllis B Leighton

Phyllis B. Leighton, of Hingham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Rose Court in Linden Ponds in Hingham after a period of declining health at the age of 89. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Luther S. “Steve” Leighton. She is survived by her son Scott Leighton of Ft. Worth Texas, son Bruce Leighton and his wife Eileen of Hampstead NH, her daughter Janice Ducey and her husband Paul of Scituate. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Born in Hingham, she attended Hingham Schools and attended Katherine Gibbs School in Boston.  She worked in the medical records field for several doctors. Prior to moving to Linden Ponds, Phyllis and her husband enjoyed living in Cohasset for twenty years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Court of Linden Ponds for the care given to her in the past year.

Burial will be private.
