Nicholas A Caparrotta

Nicholas “Nick” Caparrotta Jr., passed away October 24, 2018 at the age of 81.

Nick was the son of the late Nicola Caparrotta and Josephine Caparrotta (Zona). Nick was a lifelong resident of Hingham. He worked for many years in the banking industry, however his love was music. He spun records at many clubs in Boston. Music, of all varieties, was his passion. Nick was the brother of the late Rudolph Caparrotta of Hingham and the late Catherine Ahlstrand of Duxbury. Nick is survived by his Sister, Rose Johnson and her husband Herbert of Duxbury, his sister in law Catherine Caparrotta of Hingham and 14 nieces & nephews, several grandnieces & nephews as well as a few great grandnieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr. Peter Hoshino, his staff and the staff of Harbor Medical Cardiac Clinic in Weymouth. Also thank you to his terrific neighbors, Tom & Kathy Quinn who always kept an eye on him.

Arrangements are under the care of Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel in Hingham.

A graveside service will be held at Saint Paul’s Cemetery in Hingham on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the South Shore Country Club which will begin a 12 p.m.
