Howard A Tinkham III

Howard A. Tinkham III, of Hingham, passed away on Saturday March 3, 2018 at the age of 90.

 Husband of the late Priscilla (Hill) and the late Beverly (Bonney). Beloved father of Andrea Tinkham of N.H. Step father of Susan (Quilty) Roy of Hingham, Kevin Quilty and his wife Stacie of Hingham, Peter Quilty and his wife Cheryl of Sheffield, Chris Quilty and his wife Cynthia of PA, and Jay Quilty of PA. Loving grandfather to many grandchildren.

Howard was born in Hingham in 1927 as the son of the late Howard A. Jr. and Frances L. (Hastings) Tinkham. Upon graduating from Hingham High school, he served 2 years in the U.S. Navy. He later went on to graduate from St. Lawrence University in 1951. He worked for many years at JSK, a national brokerage firm where he retired as Eastern Division President.

Howard was a past member of the Needham Golf Club, the Ridge Club in Sandwich, the Hatherly Country Club in Scituate, and Pelican Landing Country Club in Florida. He also enjoyed volunteering at the Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich, Elderly Services in Sandwich and at Falmouth Hospital.  

Funeral service and interment will be private.
