Glenn E. Simonson, of Hingham, died suddenly on January 24, 2019.

Beloved husband of the late Deborah Jenkins Simonson. Loving brother of the late Earle Simonson, loving son of the late Simon and Edna Simonson of Weymouth. Survived by cousins Sandra Gustafson of Brookfield, MA and Kenneth Ericson of CA, nieces Kim Nickerson and Lisa Pelchat of FL, second cousins Jessica Anderson and Derek Marsh of Weymouth, and close friend Barbara Thompson of Plymouth.

He dedicated his life to his two golden retrievers Carly and Sunny. Glenn graduated from Weymouth High School and went on to Boston University, Northeastern University, and Bentley. He was active and part of the Yankee Golden Retriever Club, Golden Retriever Club of America, The Hingham Rotary Club, The South Shore Viking Club of Braintree, and a member of the Community Emergency Rescue Team of Hingham. He possessed a great sense of humor, loved playing trivia, huge Boston sports fan, and enjoyed his Friday night gatherings with family.
