We are so sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. He was such an amazing man. We loved living next door to him and hearing all of his stories. Especially when he and John’s Dad would get together in our driveway and talk about their high school games like it was yesterday.

Dear Terri and Lori, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He was a very special man with a warm heart and an infectious smile. I remember so many times seeing your mother and him having their coffee at Dunkin Donuts before going to see one of the grandchildren's sporting events. I'm sorry I cannot be with you today but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Jeanne (Percy) Spence

So sorry for your loss. Coach V was one in a million. I miss running into him as he rode his bike and I was walking. We had some great talks about our basketball years at HHS. It was so heartwarming to listen to him to talk about "his" Margaret. I was just thinking about him and I am sorry for missing the service. Suzanne

Val Duff often spoke quite fondly of Dan. He told of the time he watched young Dan steal a watermelon from his garden and when it was cut into it was quite hollow. And he laughed like heck! Still Dan would to go over to Mrs. Duff's on Smith Road and play a game of Hearts every week with others in the neighborhood. Now they are all together again probably laughing and playing cards. And that is how the Duff family will remember him.

That is hysterical! It sounds so much like something he would have done as a kid. He certainly was a rascal.
