Cynthia F (Ferres) Wilkins

Cynthia F. (Ferres) Wilkins, of Hingham, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the age of 91.

She was the wife of the late John H. Wilkins and mother of Edward F. Fanjoy of Worcester. Grandmother of Pamela and Emma Fanjoy of Shrewsbury. She was the daughter of the late John G. and Mariam (Eaton) Ferres, and was born and raised in Johnstown N.Y.  

Cynthia had been a Hingham resident for over 40 years, and was actively involved in the local Garden club, Historical society and was a member of the Hingham Congregational Church.  She Graduated from Vassar College in 1946 and received her Masters from Boston University. In her earlier years, was a Text Book Editor and Teacher. Cynthia enjoyed traveling with her late husband John and at one time lived in Argentina and Cuba.

A memorial service will be held at the Hingham Congregational Church, 378 Main Street Hingham, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
