Carol (Wigmore) McCusker

Carol (Wigmore) McCusker, of Hingham, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness on January 18, 2018 at the age of 83.

Loving wife of 54 years to the late Richard B. McCusker Sr.  Devoted mother of Richard B. McCusker Jr. Capt., QPD, and his wife Susan of Hingham, Lynne M. McCusker of Hull, Peter S. McCusker and his wife Elizabeth of Nantucket and Douglas D. McCusker of Colorado.  Loving grandmother to Meghan, Katherine, Allison, Quinn, Perrin and Sullivan.  Sister of Marjorie Jordan of Hingham and Constance Gellatly of Hull.  Predeceased by her brothers William, Henry, Daniel, Robert, sisters Nancy Delorey and Ruth Harrington. 

Carol was born and raised in Hingham, worked for years as dental hygienist, home health aid and for Talbots.  She loved celebrating holidays and special occasions with her cherished family and friends. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018  from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street Hingham, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
