Philias Philipon of Hingham, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 90.
Husband of Joan (Pelley) Philipon for 61 years. Devoted father of Douglas S. Philipon and wife Gail of Hollis, New Hampshire, Brenda (Philipon) Copus and husband Mark of Crockett, Texas, Robert G. Philipon of Carrollton, Texas and the late Gregory S. Philipon.
Also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, sister-in-law Louise (Pelley) Surprenant and husband Paul of Florida, brother-in-law Robert Watson of Concord, Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Frances (Philipon) Scott and Helen Philipon and sister-in-law Patricia (Pelley) Watson.
A memorial service will be held at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 916 Main Street (Route 228) Hingham on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
