Patrice Vogelman

Patrice Marie Vogelman, of Scituate, passed away on March 6, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60.

She is survived by her three brothers Stephen (Peggy), Gregory (Susan) & Andrew (Suzanne); and by her estranged husband and two sons, John & Hayes Keniley; as well as many nieces & nephews and her many wonderful friends. Daughter of the late John F. & Kathleen P. Vogelman.

Ms. Vogelman graduated from Upper Darby High School, Drexel Hill, PA and the George Washington University, Washington DC with a BA in Economics; she worked for the Verizon Corporation for 37 years as the Senior Director of Marketing.

Patrice was a Deacon at the Second Congregational Church, the former Chairwoman of the Cohasset Conservation Commission, a member of the Tri4Jett Triathlon Team which raced in support of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and a longtime member of the Cohasset Yacht Club.

Her interests included sailing, traveling, reading, gardening, history, politics and athletics including swimming and running.  She will be remembered for her intelligence, kindness, compassion, concern for her community and strength of character in the face of unimaginable loss in the year before her passing.

Patrice’s brothers would like to recognize her dearest friends in the community who cared for her and provided strength and support during this difficult time of need, and devastating loss over the last year.

A memorial service will be held at the Second Congregational Church, 43 Highland Ave, Cohasset on May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am.
