Pamela E Robinson

Pamela Elayne (Smythe) Robinson, of Hingham, formerly of Weymouth, passed away on Monday February 6, 2017 at the age of 67.

 Beloved wife to Edward “Ted” Robinson for 29 years.  Loving mother to William Francis and his wife Nancy of Brockton; stepmother to Edward Robinson Jr. and his wife Audrey of Brockton, Janet Churchill and her fiance James of Taunton, and Patricia Biagini and her husband Andrew of West Bridgewater. Cherished grandmother to several grandchildren and one great grandchild. Caring sister to Sterling Cossaboom and his wife Elizabeth of Missouri. Sister in law to Richard Robinson of New York, Janet Jones and her husband Robert of Carver, Wayne Robinson of Weymouth, John Robinson and his wife Barbara of Florida, James Robinson and his wife Rosa of Hingham, Ellen Elliot and her husband Walter of Norwell, and Francis Robinson and his wife Susan of Scituate. Daughter of the late Ashley Smythe and Ruth (Cossaboom) Smythe.

Pam was raised in Randolph where she lived for many years before living with her husband Ted in Brockton, Abington, and Weymouth before they recently moved to Hingham. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant for Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years and as a machine operator at Olson Machine and Tool Company in Abington. She enjoyed knitting, crochet, singing and playing the piano. She loved vacationing in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee with her husband Ted. Pam was a wonderful woman who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 3 to 6 p.m. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, on Monday, February 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Saint Paul Cemetery in Hingham.
