Julia “Julie” DeGennaro, of Hingham, formerly of Quincy, Braintree, and Naples Florida, passed away on February 9, 2017 at the age of 99.
Born in Boston on October 29, 1917, Julie was the daughter of the late Mario and Teresa Hidalgo. She was a graduate of the South Boston High School. She was an active member of the Wollaston Yacht Club in Quincy, with her husband “Commodore” Jerry; the Naples Elks Lodge, and the Sons of Italy.
Julie is survived by her devoted family including her son Jerry and his wife Laura; grandson, Scott and his wife Stephanie; sister in laws, brother in law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Jerry; sisters, Ann and Isabella, and her brother Ronald.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at the St. Peter the Apostle Garden Columbarium in Naples Florida.
