Anna (Piperidou) Panos

Anna (Piperidou) Panos, of Hingham, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of Peter R Panos for 55 years. Loving sister to Mary Tutty of Weymouth and Helen Fuda of Hingham. Caring aunt to Gregory Tutty and his longtime friend Linda Cheevers of Weymouth and Deborah Panos of Hull. She is also survived by several cousins and an extensive family in Greece.

Anna, known by her friends and family as Annula, was born in Salonica Greece and came to America as a young lady. Anna was a wonderful cook and a devoted wife to Peter. She also served on several committees at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church in Cohasset.  She will missed by her family even though they are many miles apart but mostly she will be missed by Nina (Helen) her devoted sister in law along with her companion Jeanne Swan and Bob Swan.

Visiting hours will be held at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street Hingham, on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A funeral service will be held at the Nativity-Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 811 Jerusalem Road Cohasset on Friday April 7 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at High Street Cemetery in Hingham.
