Ann (Hutchinson) MacQuarrie

Ann (Hutchinson) MacQuarrie, of Hingham, died peacefully on May 2, 2017. She was 83 years old. 

She is survived by her children, Lawrence Whitney MacQuarrie III and his wife Bridget of Canton, MA, Sandy Kring and her husband Bill of Smyrna GA and Francie Doyle of Boston.  In addition she leaves 4 grandchildren whom she adored:  Lexie and Sarah MacQuarrie and Andrew and Megan Kring.

Ann was born in Meriden CT, the daughter of William and Frances Hutchinson.  A graduate of Smith College, she was married to Lawrence Whitney MacQuarrie Jr., for 41 years until his death in 1997.  She is predeceased by her brother William Hutchinson.

Ann lived in Hingham for 44 years and was a devoted mother and wife.  She worked at South Junior High School, The Whiton House and Barnes and Noble. Ann enjoyed reading, walking, movies and time with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 172 Main Street Hingham on Friday May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
